Can't answer to the external storage question, but I've been looking at the Motorola Moto G. It appears to have an onboard SD slot, 3.5mm jack, and an FM radio.
If I were to buy a new phone, I'd much rather get more features than less.
I have a Moto G Power (from a few years ago) and it's stood up to some abuse. I slammed it once (fucking Google maps kept switching to walking even though I was in a car) and actually bent the frame (and screen), no cracks. There is a chip on the side of the glass front, but no cracks across. It's been dropped a lot (basic bumper case). Headphone jack is nice. Motorola doesn't load them down with lots of crapware.
Love my Moto G. My current is my third. Rooted, custom ROM, battery last for days, pretty good camera, reasonable price. -
Well I was thinking about getting the 2023 version of the g power. I have the 2020 version and it's kind of a hunk of shit but maybe the 23 is way better?
I have the 2020 and it's pretty decent. I remember people saying the later years worsened it. What's wrong with your 2020?
It's just really slow now. The camera is an absolute piece of shit and to be honest it's actually kind of big.
