I'm aware matrilineal descent matters to Conservative and Orthodox Jews, but why do people in our circles care? Israel's right of return goes by grandparents and most Jews in the Western media, entertainment, academia,and white-collar work are secular. I've never seen anyone less worried if there was a Jewish father and European mother, so why bring it up at all? It's not magic, it's just the best an ancient people lacking paternity tests could do.

Exactly!

But Jewish religious prescriptions matter to JQ-minded people more than they should, and I was hoping people could justify why besides pointing out the religious laws exist. Most Christians don't read the Bible, go to church, or know what makes their denomination different than others and I'm sure most Jews don't know the Torah, let alone the Talmud.

The Talmud (and other Jewish religious laws) illustrates Jewish hatred of Christians and Jewish arrogance more because their religion reflects them than it governs them. When one acts like a secular billionaire Jew, who probably grew up hearing how much dumber the Orthodox are than his family, is secretly an avid Talmud reader, that misses where the behavior stems.

Many people fail to grasp this creates a sphere of influence from birth. Those who do not religiously subscribe are still slanted toward Zionism and Jewish supremacy. Most disproportionately benefit and support hatred and discrimination against the Israelites.

When everything about a culture and genetics is corrupted, corruption of everything around them is the only possible outcome. Religious devotion isn't a requirement.
