The major ones are all merged into huge corporate conglomerates. I stay away from all of them, especially the ones with proprietary solutions that don't allow you to migrate away from them easily should you become dissatisfied (or if they go out of business or sell out). There are many smaller, localized web hosting companies. Some are very good.
