As young as 5 under supervision. 8 and above unsupervised. IF you are restricted to a NES title. Anything modern requires extreme restrictions but not a complete moratorium because kids will simply go to their friends' houses to play and that is worse than not playing anything. Choose your battles wisely, so you are not caught unaware.
