So I've heard this term a couple of times and usually it's spoken by a guy that looks like he shoots deer out of his bathroom window. That they were running their dogs in the moonlight. So what do you all think the real meaning of running your dogs at night is?

It means pressing the start button on a dog and letting it do its thing.

No it will usually just idle until you enter a command. The language depends on the dog breed as well. For example, if you have a pitbull, you must use the Wakanda programming language.

This is almost always accurate.

Those models are notoriously defective. They will often turn into a run-away process even when no commands in any programming language are issued. They will stack overflow in no time.
