Walnuts are fantastic, and so are wafers.
I do know that recipe, but I don't drink alcohol save for very very special occasions. But I pretty much made that recipe without the liquor and with the addition of cloves to the heated milk and nutmeg to the final mix at the end. Tastes amazing.
As a heads up to everyone, eggnog goes well in a cup of coffee as a creamer. Thickens it up, and doesn't overpower the coffee flavor. It actually tastes more flavorful, cutting the bitter without being too sweet.
