Good man. Never assume on the road.

I used to drive for a living. At least 50% of people out on the road are not fit to sit in the front seat, let alone drive the car and hold a license.

The world would be a better place if manual transfusions were still the standard.

Manual transfusions. My mind is trying to develop a joke but none comes to mind.

true story. When I was pursuing a career in a man's field, I wasnt getting enough sleep to keep myself awake while driving. Even if I did get plenty of sleep, I would very often black out and have to slap my face to wake me up, and i nearly crashed to my death sometimes several times in a morning. The only thing that could keep me awake was adrenaline from anger.

I hated it was expected of me to get a license when I was in highschool because I didnt trust myself or other drivers on the road. I heard the stats of people who died on the road and often thought I would be one of the numbers.

Now, as a housewife, I love that I only have to drive short distances to the store, and I get alot more sleep. My life not being centered around driving is great. After all that driving I did as a young adult/teenager I have plenty of driving experience to drive efficiently and safely especially now that I'm not in a hurry, not maintaining a state of rage, not blacking out from lack of sleep and only driving short distances occasionally.
