Yeah no matter how tired I am after 5 or 6 I just lay there thinking about shit I shouldnt.
Sounds about right. I've tried damn near everything including crap the Dr. wanted me to try. Anything that worked stopped working in about a week and I am not willing to just "up the dose" like most would tell you to.
I just exist on less sleep and when I can I take time to "rest". It's not sleep but it might be something like reading for a half hour in a quite space or just removing myself from the normal "day to day" stuff for a while.
If it's the right time of the year I like to go for walks at night, especially after a light snow. Its something that has to be experienced to understand why it is so relaxing. At least it is for me.
I started taking my magnesium at night with d3 cause it seems like I read somewhere it helps with sleep. Alot of times Ill pick up the kindle and read for abit, then try to sleep again.
Walks at night, you live in the woods or city? It gets pretty dark and Im not into walking with a light.
Not really in "the city" but also not "in the woods" (I Wish, Hope that will be real soon).
I've also been told by a former co-worker that a Zink supplement could help but I've not tried it so I've got no idea if it would work. He was into a lot of "crazy" stuff that really were just BS.
I just wish I still had a wood burning fireplace. My old place had one and that just made life so much better. I don't give a fuck about all of these morons screaming about burning wood or indoor pollution (I have/had filters). You cannot replace the comfort of a wood burning stove on a cold night with fresh snow and everything around you is nearly silent.
If you have ever experienced this you know what I mean. If you have not? Well. you have no idea what you are missing.
Oh, I use a kindle too but I have one of the old one's that doesn't have a backlight so I don't have to worry about all of the blue-light crap that (most) of the new ones have. I have also been buying any book I really like in print to make sure they cant take it away or "patch it" because of reasons.
