I know an Asian family that fled a war and ended up living near me. Their son is a good friend of mine and his whole family treats me like one of their own. One time I was discussing funeral arrangements with his parents and they were saying how expensive a funeral is. I told them that they could have a cremation done for cheap. They laughed at me and said "no, if you burn the body, then in your next life you'll be black". That is not worth the risk to be cremated.
