The music was real. The movie was in theaters for years like the Rocky Horror Picture Show was. I couldn't stand the way the made hippies look like they were special. Fuck them. There's one scene where some older regular working stiff is cleaning the outhouses and he says how he likes their freedom and shit and thinks they're great. He'd do anything for them. I hated that scene. Anyway, watch Alvin Lee and !0 years after. Great shit. Also all the top bands of the 60's weren't there. Beatles, Stones, Beach Boys, Carole King, Zeppelin, Dylan. They musta figured, "fuck that shit." Man they had unknown bands there, like Santana, Crosby, Stills, & Nash, 10 Years After. I think 10 Years After f/ Alvin Lee, Santana, & Crosby, Stills, & Nash were the best perfomances. The Last Waltz is a great movie too. The Wrecking Crew is a good doc. Check it out you Boomer haters. Maybe you'll learn something about how music was played on instruments in the 60's.
