You posted it... the internet IS the collective.
Stop watching TV and you will notice, after about three months, that most people behaviour is designed by "programming"

God works in mysterious ways.
It's just so strange. They contacted me out of the blue.
I know these things. They happen to me too, I understand them as much as you, but I know 100% what you are talking about.
The more I talk to God and force myself to be connected to him, the more often these things happen to me and my intuition gets a lot stronger. I have started to believe in fate.
I know this sound like some overly religious rambling, but I don't know how to put it in any other way. I don't go to curch and don't like priests or anyone telling me how to live my life. I went through some difficult things in life and now I fell that all of that happened for a reason and there is something bigger going on and we will all play our roles in it.
I've had several life events that have happened at certain times which just felt "right" for them to have happened at that particular point in time. Whether that's fate or just mere coincidence, I have no clue.
Yes, I should spend more time communing with God
I've always thought this if you look at when inventions occur around the world there are a lot of examples of two people who have never met and would have had no way to communicate inventing basically the same thing within a week or two of each other.
But this is weirder because it is two people having the same idea for an invention at the exact same time and then one randomly contacts the other asking for help working on it despite having no connection to each and never having publicly shared the idea
Yeah, it is probably even more common than you think. The examples I was thinking about where back before the age of the internet or phones. People would have to write messages and it would take weeks for them to arrive.
Now that we live in a very different world I assume this is sort of like the birthday paradox. If you have a particular skill and are thinking about things to do with it you might invent something. Others seeking someone for an idea would search for someone with the skill to do so.. its not as strange as it seems. Especially now that communication world-wide is instant in a lot of cases.
You both probably saw something online that contributed to this idea.
Sometimes I want to share a jewtube link about something interesting and realize that someone already did a couple minutes ahead of me. It always feels weird.
You know nothing of divine inspiration!
Yes. I read once that several people had simultaneously come up with the idea for the cotton gin. Eli Whitney got the patent. Odd indeed.
He stole it from some slaves. He even got sued by the slave owner but he had improved it with gears so it was different enough to be his patent.
Lol. This is a joke, right?
If the idea is totally outside of your field of work, and the clients' field of work, yeah that's a little weird.
If you and the client are in the same field, it's not weird at all. Ideas happen all the time. There are probably other people in your field who have the same idea and will be competing with you.
If you want to mainline this, listen to a lot of pitches from startup CEOs. For any possible new idea there will be a few dozen startups trying to raise money all of a sudden within a few weeks.
Great ideas are common, execution is everything!
re "Last week I made a post about an idea.." The client read your post.
rules changed under obama first to patent owns it.
Alexander Graham Bell and Elisha Gray submitted patents for the telephone THE SAME DAY. Bell beat Gray out by two hours
Can you imagine having just invented the world's first telephone and then it rings
Wonderfully phrased.
So what's your big idea? You have to spill it here. They say the hard part isn't coming up with the idea, it's implementing and marketing it
I’ve often wondered if those that have the ability to listen in on devices have stolen ideas they’ve overheard being discussed between people. They’d have the power and resources to put the idea into production rather quickly.
When everything is a listening device how easy it would be to target certain types of people, groups and corporations. The simplest of ideas can rake in billions.
Of course we do. We collectively think AntiClutch is a niggerfaggot
Eyyyo!!!
