I haven't looked into rechargeable, mine I bought from REI years ago takes 4 aaa and it lasts a long time. I go look it up or you decide to go that route.

went caving with a guy who had a ZEBRA lamp. brightest I've ever seen.
my old one was an energizer from walmart. it took 3 AAA batteries. i would use rechargeable AAAs.
whatever one i have now is also from walmart. the logo is a diamond with three other smaller diamonds i think. it works fine.

I have heaps of rechargeable light stuff from them for camping, auto, garage etc, it's all so simple even they can't f it up.
