If we bring the fundamentals of martial order, honor, and skill, back in any substantial way then yes I think the generation raised with those things could strike out against such things.
I don't like the strength and low cost of modern marijuana, but a low THC product wouldn't bother me, unfortunately there is no way to make a low THC product as you can't really overdose on THC so people can just consume more they reach the desired high, that said CBD seems to be doing good with the only really ill effect being the stores selling it selling either THC edibles or synthetic marijuana.
Alcohol and is in a pretty sweet spot for preventing over consumption naturally, cocaine overconsumption is a bit too dangerous and can come as a surprise to undiligent cokeheads, marijuana has no upper limit for a common harm, no hangover, no puking. caffeine is a better alternative to cocaine from a civilizational viewpoint but if you regulated low doses of coca that would probably also be fine, as evidenced in original coke, coca wine, and coca chocolates all being fine pick-me-ups. plenty of other stimulants or natural substances with effects on mind and body are good the issue becomes how safe they are for public consumption and the effect on the public they have long term, cocaine is a bit of a safety issue, marijuana is a bigger threat IMHO because it erodes public morals.
Marijuana can cause schizophrenia in some people, and the modern super strong stuff can do some other bad things I think. It's not as harmless as it's made out to be.
