I used to cook with aluminum all the time. Putting it under fish, chicken,and meat baking it in the oven or doing hobo dinners in the fire but then I heard that it causes memory loss. That it could be a path for dementia so I haven't done it since a couple years ago. Is this just propaganda or the real deal?

I'm not sure how much aluminum would get in your food from aluminum foil or pans, I'd look it up but I'm sure certain people wouldn't allow an unbiased study anyway. I'd avoid it if you can but not worry too much about it otherwise. It's probably more important to stop using deodorant with aluminum and to avoid vaccines containing it.

The very act of cooking would impart aluminum atoms to foods; scraping with utensils, heating, acidic foods, etc.

Yes. I don't use deodorant much. Staying hydrated keeps the stink down.
