John Lott has excellent books on that. The tl:dr argument is the only crime that is not negatively affected by gun laws (AKA does not go down) is car burglary. And that means he could not find any correlation. ALL other violent or potentially violent crimes go down with a more armed populace.

Isn't that like having a study on whether applying water to things makes them wet? You want a COMPILATION of studies like that?
