Thank you. Guess next time I head to the city I'll stop at microcenter. I have a few odds and ends I need to pick up. It's a long drive so I only go when I have a long enough list of things I need.
If you want to get full control over your router--if you're into that kind of thing--look into flashing your routers firmware with something like DD-WRT. Freshtomato is another optoin which is much more easily accessible (user-friendly UI makes it easier to work with than DD-WRT). You may want to choose a router from their if you want to flash custom firmware on your router (I recommend).
The router I suggested is compatible with DD-WRT, but not freshtomato. Any from the freshtomato list would be good. You get the most out of your router when you remove the manufacturer firmware.
