Good question, people in my family have been trying to figure it out for 50 years or more its kind of a fucked up story.
We had a family tale about Indian heritage that I heard all the time growing up. I did some research and it turned out not to be true. Then when Elizabeth Warren's BS blew up in the news I would mock my cousins about it, telling them it was a good thing they never ran for office and claimed to be something they're not.
