I remember a long time ago, when lots of interesting things came from 4chan. Political discoveries, "hate" facts, programming/hacking and lots of fresh memes.

I guess things changed after moot left(?). The few times I've looked at /b/ in recent years, it seems to be only porn, thots from social media and furries. Was 4chan intentionally destroyed by bots or did it implode in another way?

Who knows. Moot sold it, just because a face bought it doesn't mean that face controls it.

Of course. And what seems to be bots posting doesn't have to come from the owner anyway.
