John McAfee will be the first US president to ever tweet about fucking whales.

He should be president.

I think he’s an eccentric genius.

Taken from his website. The guy is on cocaine all the time, but he is smart and interesting. Probably won't vote for him, though.

Unless he comes out as being 100% against Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Combo of smart and cocaine I’ve noticed rarely pays off.

Unstable.

I think that his intense drive and amazing wackiness will cause him to eventually somehow become the first actual superhero. Or maybe a super villain, I'm not absolutely sure on that detail.

He's smart and articulate but he's a murder suspect and therefore won't be a President of the US. Americans want their leaders to have impeccable reputations. He's a libertarian, not the worst ideology to believe in. I have nothing else to say.

I agree with smart and articulate, but as far as a murder suspect, I thought that was adjudicated (in another country) and went away, which, doesn’t mean guilty or not, but does mean no longer a suspect. Could be wrong, though.

I stand corrected. The first time I've learned about this guy was 2016 US elections, which I paid attention to because I live in a dictatorship (Russia) and my country's elections are boring. He was my favorite potential candidate (with Trump being my favorite candidate, who I was extremely glad won, because candidate Trump was a lot better than politician Trump - ), I also liked Jill Stein. But hearing McAffey giving interviews was like readong Thomas Jefferson's letters, by which I mean it doesn't get more articulate than that.

He (when he was no longer a possible candidate) never said he believes in Russian supposed election interference. But when he was still a possible candidate, he was publishing articles / giving interviews about cyber threats. Saying that North Korea, Russia, China and/or Iran may hack and destroy American electrical grid. I thought that it's fascinating because (no offence but) America is a rabid dog and needs to be shot, and North Korea, for example, doesn't have nukes in order to do it.

Or like some other guy said, "In a world of satellites, lasers, computers, briefcase weapons, precision targeting, and a choice of viruses with which to attack people or computers, nations as we now know them may well find themselves up against potent adversaries, some no more than a millionth their size."

It was the first time I've encountered that thought, and McAfee articulated it better than anyone could.

he's out there, but alright I guess doesn't really bug me for the most part. I usually just ignore any of his antics for the most part anyways.

he takes the bitcoin stuff way too far personally.

$21,000,000,000,000 - $1,000,000 a coin or at least like $17 - $18 trillion by 2020 was one of his expectations I saw around the internet.

what kind of fucking bet is that? is dick his assistance like richard or something?

That seems preposterous.

I think it is myself.

$17,000,000,000,000,000 / 7 billion people = $3,000 - that's $3,000 per person worldwide and/or globally.

Well say 17.5 million bitcoin exist currently. It was around 17 million last year. Well say 500,000,000 buy into bitcoin and/or trade fiat currency for Bitcoin itself.

If 500,000,000 buy into Bitcoin. For it to reach $1,000,000 with 17.5 (roughly - might be closer to 17 million still) million coins in circulation currently.

They must all spend $35,000 each for it to reach that $1,000,000 price point per Bitcoin or $17,500 each of the 500,000,000 for Bitcoin to reach $500,000*.

If 1=1 that is and all my calculations are right. I might of screwed this up to, but I'm 99% sure this is outside the realm of reason even within 10 years if not 25 years for that matter.

I continue to waffle back and forth between loon and genius. I suppose it's a little of both.

Apparently you guys haven't been paying attention to the news. Check out his Twitter. Everyone here is going in the opposite direction. His potentially being president, his supposedly being crazy or him doing party drugs doesn't matter much anymore. The juicy stuff is recent and it's on his Twitter.

Won’t use Twitter, so while I haven’t seen his feed, there has been coverage about his remarks about releasing info on senators and such. Just wonder how he has access to anything incriminating at high levels of government.

  1. You don't have to have Twitter to view Twitter.

  2. How does a man with one of the biggest security firms the world has ever seen have incriminating evidence of wrongdoing at the highest levels of government?... Hm... I wonder how that might happen.

Yes, I understand that about Twitter, I just refuse to even see their name in my browser.

And I know he pioneered an anti virus software back in the 90s, just didn’t know he currently has one of the biggest security firms the world has ever seen, as you mention.

You’re reply seems to be condescending and somewhat sarcastic. Would you speak to your mother that way? If my question(s) bother(s) you, might I suggest you ignore me and move along instead?
