Ok, I thought you were talking about custom emojis exclusive to Poal. That would be a cool idea though, just be sure to add a Rebel Flag emoji.

That would be even better as they would be device agnostic.

The extended emojis would just show as codes in a vertical rectangle when the device don't support them.
