They also claim to be made in the US. I've been using Samsung phones for awhile but they are getting way up there in price too and the last one I bought did not even last 2 years before it started fucking up.

I'm about a year into this one and thinking of switching brands if it doesn't last longer this time.

Nope! I'm terrible like that; always have been. Hand me a device and I pop whatever linux version I'm familiar with on it. I still freaking use the WindowMaker window manager on all my linux boxes in my home. I did Slackware for ages, then it became Arch when I was running into having to compile just about everything on Slack and got tired of it. It's just like I struggle with any mp3 player that doesn't run Rockbox. I'm stuck in my ways.

It's really weird to go out without a smart phone and it really ticks some people/places off when they demand you scan things or the like and you hold up this strange phone...
