Better than Tor? It should have an option to route over i2p or Tor.

It's open source and looks solid to me. I think a lot of the exit nodes are hosted by jews, but that's unavoidable.
online privacy is about diligence.
use something like RSA public/private keypairs to encrypt all comms traffic, and you can communicate via email for all you care.
modern browsers are basically all compromised because javascript is the exploit bed used against any browser.
If you want the most privacy? No.
For average use? Maybe, depends on your internet speed.
