Well, most libraries now offer audio books. Hell, some even offer online downloads of stuff. It'll bypass buying anything if that's your thing. I have to audio book stuff generally, my work schedule is fucked up and doesn't offer a lot of time to sit and read. Only book I still regularly spend time in is my Bible
