Listening to things like TBN at grandparents, where they feature many messianic rabbi types (who are more benign, usually hated by their own), they still have their well put together diatribes to trick many misguided christians, where though the jews have different factions infighting, they still come together, with their OCD self fulfilling prophecy agenda, though they seemed to have overplayed their hand, with too much exposure lately... It's been a long day, I lost my train of thought, and Phillies just started. Discuss

I don't think that sending a message to phones makes them any more vulnerable than they already were. And if somehow it did, they'd just quietly send this to phones not all at the same time. Doing it all at once just makes any issues it causes more visible because lots of people would have them at the same time. Either it was just some stupid test, or it was done for whatever psychological effect such a test would have on people, maybe distraction from some other event.
