Maternal TDAP Vax is given as an option as a lower risk immunization for our unborn kid to Pertussis. I know that Pertussis is a major concern. I'm really worried to be honest. What do?

My wife never received any vax during any of her pregnancies. But our kids were born before the 2ks. Brief search shows this started in the early 2000's when hospitals were seeing an uptick in pertussis (whooping cough) because illegals were bringing it in.

If your wife is around a pertussis outbreak, is undergoing wound care (post op sort of stuff) then I'd consider it but this is a decision for you and your wife to make.

Thank you so much for the info! I appreciate it :)

No problem. Congratulations and best wishes for a new little life! All that wonder, all that joy and love. Holding your baby close to you, rocking, feeding, feeling them close and warm and so present; they are just such a part of you, you feel it to your very core. Babies are so amazing.

No vaccines ever. None. There is not one that makes you better off.

That's definitely my bent! I'm just constantly worried about us having a healthy child and once in awhile the scare propaganda gets to me y'know?

We did home birth and it is awesome. Just as safe with a competent midwife. All tests are done to monitor for healthy delivery without the kiked med system always trying to get one on you. No vaccines and a healthy household here.
