After straining it, boil it with water again to remove the impurities into the water.
I would advise just throwing it out, the water absorbs all the funky water soluble things like chlorophyll and bad taste. Water feee extraction is best and picks up all the active chemistry. Yes you lose a bit in the oil you couldn’t squeeze out, but I always felt it was worth it.

Fair. I meant to say throw everything but the squeezed out oil away. Personally I really advise against the water in any aspect. Your trichromes are soluble in fats /oils/ alcohol , and everything you don’t want (bottom of lawnmower flavor) is water based. If you have a super limited amount, and your poor, just grind it up and throw it in, but otherwise the extract is where it’s at. (I’ve won awards for edibles and used to manufacture them). You could go all crazy and do butane extraction and it’s fine (pricey) or co2 extraction but I don’t Recommend as it’s pricier and it misses some of the full spectrum which changes the effects negatively in my opinion.
