I agree, hard not to cheat. Thats prob 90% of my diet, but damn potatoes.
A little cheating is ok. You can eat up to 10% carbs but I don't usually go that far. Most days I'm at zero.
Man I went on a carnivore diet way before it was popular, and rib eyes were affordable. Every night. I went to a casino steakhouse and got a loaded baked potato with my steak. It was the best thing I had ever eaten, I ate it all before even a bite of the steak.
Yeah on Keto you just gotta fat bomb. Eat the fattiest meat, add in some MCT Oil and eggs and you're solid. Won't get hungry afterwards.

Definitely not for a week. If you are only eating them once a day you will be back in ketosis as soon as your body uses up the sugar. The problem is that you get hungery as soon as that happens, so people generally eat more sugar. Then you get stuck in the cycle bouncing off the sugar withdrawl back into glycolysis.
If you eat them strategically and time it so you go into ketosis just before bed or shortly after you will sleep through the hunger and wake up in ketosis, not struggleing with hunger pangs and getting the benefits of fiber and vitamins from fruits.
