I think the people in power are so entrenched, and against open aggression, a civil war would be a fucked up circus of loosely connected "terror" cells. Small concentrated strikes and local clandestine insertions of people within government.
You could argue that already has happened to the benefit of the left. Turner Diaries paints a good picture for the right, but I doubt it would go that way to the specifics.
Worst yet, if it came to open aggression on a state level, there would be so many foreign hands in the cookie jar that what came out in the end would be beyond fucked. Full balkanization of the states into an EU/WEF like organization that fucks us all.
