What is rich?
seriously I guess its the assholes who dont have to worry about any bill, and go to the store and buy anything they want
Nonsense. I have a very good middle class income and buy what i want. The 'rich' have more money than they can spend and do Not GIVE anything to the betterment of The World and The People.
That describes me BUT back when I was looking at houses, and interest rates were 2%, I got approved for an $835,000 mortgage. The house I bought was around $300,000 at the time. Now everyone I know who bought the most house they could get approved for is shitting bricks because when their mortgage term is up, and they have to renew, their payments are going to triple or more to something they can't afford.
Another type of person who is comfortable now are the ones who bought a house, and lived as cheaply as possible for 5-10 years to aggressively pay that shit off.
It is amazing what they will "approve" you for. I saved for years to buy my car (used) in cash. They asked if I wanted to do financing and I let them run the numbers. They would have let me buy a new $60k car on my shitty income for some reason.
Yeah, I guess I could "technically" make the monthly payments.. If I did not need to pay for literally any other bill like.. food or rent.
As I regularly tell my wife, "It doesn't matter how much money someone has, they can still find a way to spend more."
I've known plenty of poor people that buy whatever they want in the store and not worry about the bill. On the other hand, Warren Buffett was known to worry about the cost of trivial items, like the price of fast food at McDonald's.
Going in stores is gay tho. Unless you're getting food, kind of need food.
People that do not know the value of a dollar simply because they never had to. Imagine living someplace like the United states and thinking a single banana costs $15. Or someone who can walk into (pick any) car dealership and just buy a car/truck/suv/etc on the spot in cash without financing regardless of the price tag and not worry about it.
