Valay is a closer pronunciation. It's from French where the t is silent.

How do you know that? Are you some kind of gay frog?

[–] 1 pt

Any time an English word has silent letters at the end or has little relationship between spelling and pronunciation, it's a safe assumption that the frogs are to blame.

I have never heard anyone, even niggers, pronounce the t at the end.

Horse people are not normal and neither is their sense of humor. Maybe they were just trying to be funny.

Do you agree with that factual statement?

"Valay"

Or rather like you would pronounce "val" + "A" in one go

Both are correct.

Valet ( val'ā, val'et: french vȧ˖le')

-Readers Digest Great Encyclopedia Dictionary 1966

Val'et (or -ā) Noun Val'et Adj.

-Websters's New Universal Unabridged Dictionary Cir 81-84

According to Webster the adjective form is pronounced with the T, but the noun could be either; If spoken in English. If speaking in French it looks like it's the without the t. But you can't argue we say it the french way unless you pronounce it Vah Lay not Val Lay

This is why it is important to have physical dictionaries.

If someone pronounces the "t" in "valet", I would assume they pronounce "creek" as "crick"; and pronounce "rice" as "rass", and "filet" as "fill it".

Pronounce are for faggots.

ValeT.

Fuck off with your gay silent letters.

Like Germans say wallet

I see brits do this with valet. It's like Americans say crahsawnt where the French say cwassohn.
