I buy fleece sheets from Walmart. So I can offer nothing in the way of real comfort.

get some made out of modal (bamboo)

For the record, Modal™ is made from beech trees Tencel™ is made from eucalyptus Bamboo fabric is made from bamboo and doesn't have a trademarked name. All three are excellent fabrics for bed sheets. My personal choice is Tencel. (I was in the garment industry for a while.)

Beech is great to burn in fires...🤷

Just get good high thread count cotton sheets. Names are really unimportant.

Don't trust the numbers on the box, try them. Snap them, and it will sound like paper crumpling. They feel thick, and with some care will last you a long time. Sometimes hotels sell sheets they use, maybe check that.

I've bought high-count sheets from many sources, they'll last years.

"many sources", Yeah thats what Im looking for, sources. recommended ones anyway

I don't really have any names for you, I've bought from big box stores and flea markets. You just got to go pound the pavement and do the "Would gramma approve" test.

Yeah I was hoping to do without the gamble. Meh and woot sometimes have the bamboo ones.

[–] 1 pt

get one with a really cool pattern

Smurfs, especially noting their rather based origin and overtones.

I'd recommend washing them from time to time. Seriously, I go Walmart, whatever cheapest with a high thread count and wash em in scalding hot water with a touch of bleach.

Couldn’t tell ya, I throw down any ol’ sheet then top it off with a wool blanket to lay on. Summer, winter, spring or fall.

Maybe the percale sheets from Bed Bath and Beyond?

For a decade now, I have only slept on 100% bamboo. I can never go back to anything else. But only the heavier fabric. Cheaper light-weight ones fall apart. It is better than silk or satin or anything else. Let's your skin breathe. Keeps you cool and warm as needed.

Im gonna bite the bullet on these, but it fuckin irks me to spend $100 on bedsheets.

[–] 1 pt

Let me know once you try them if you think it was worth it

It probably will be, I mean $100 is $100. My last sheets were amazon basics. They have to be better than that. Its just funny Ill spend that on a shirt but damn! Sheets? lol

Got some light blue and dark blue mypillow sheets and they're pretty good. Worth the cost.
