Colombia is a beautiful country. I spent some time in Tolima. Almost no ugly/unhealthy people and a landscape out of a watercolor painting. I miss the Almojabanas. Only problem is I stick out too much. Sure, the FARC is no more but I'd be abducted faster than you could make a Tamal Tolimense. I think I'd have to go with Argentina.

yeah Argentina I think Argentina could be good. . . but isn't it kind of dry, less lush, more barren ?

Never been there but I think the NW is more arid and the E/SE more like central Europe (hence the appeal to fleeing Germans). I'd be fine with either.
