In particular, I’m researching the Shadday Company.

I’ve found websites that say you can find this info by searching the company name, but I’ve yielded zero results.

This particular company states on some of their websites that they are engaged with charities and various philanthropy. I’m trying to find out who they’re giving money to.

I’ve never searched for this kind of information before. I figure it would be public information. Any help would be appreciated.

I can tell you that people with large pocketbooks hide from scrutiny of their donations via secondary shell companies that have only a couple accountants on staff to manage the donations. I know this because I had a girlfriend years ago who literally was doing this. They had to sign NDA's and everything.

Call investor relations

Just straight up ask them for a list of who they’ve donated money to?

Ask them for a list of charitable donations. Look for their financial filings, and ask them about those.

That will probably work. Be polite about it and investor relations will probably tell you.

Sometimes a company's annual report will tell you, but some large corps have special departments or investor relations that can tell you.

I don't see any charities they give to. You'd need to see a tax return, most likely. But that's a lot of little shell businesses to dig through.

But, there's likely a few they operate, themselves. Given the way the law works... like I said... it's natural.

Go on their twitter and other social media, check out their corporate social responsibility (CSR) webpage (if they have one), and their blog posts archives. Here, I'll even find one for you:

If it is publically traded, they have to publish their financial report for investors. You can usually find such information there.
