Also, how do you prevent it

Edit:

Thank you everyone for your kind words and articles! This thread has turned into a gold mine and will take me a while to go through, but I hope to get everyone replied to at some point today.

I personally do not know anyone going through Alzheimer's and hopefully with study and diligence it will stay that way. But for anyone going through this with themselves or a loved one my heart goes out to you and you are in my prayers

Here's a start.

I don't think you do prevent it. I know there are familial aspects to alzheimers and even childhood or early onset alzheimers.

God bless you ex-fem, hope you find some answers.

Thank you very much for your kind words :) I have a friend who's worried about it. I should probably be worried about it too since I have done a lot of work with heavy metals. All I used was a facemask about 10 years ago when I was welding and grinding all kinds of metals, including alot of aluminum.

You're more than welcome. We should all be concerned about it. It's an equal opportunity devastator. I know there's research in acetylcholine levels being reduced in alzheimers. Work in antiacetylcholinesterase inhibitors is on going.
