From what I've heard, some doctors are starting to refer to it as Type 3 diabetes. Your brain is made of fat cells and fat cells can become insulin resistant over time. If that happens to your brain cells they begin to starve. However, there is something you can do to stop this because your body can also digest ketones. Adopting a full keto diet should stop it dead in its tracks. It couldn't hurt to at least try it. Worst case scenario, you'll be thinner.
BTW, living in a state of ketosis is not sustainable long term. Fat cells become insulin resistant because usually there's too much fat and the insulin can't penetrate. Pancreas gets exhausted trying to make insulin.

How do the Eskimo's and extreme northern european/Russians do it for so long?
Eskimos survive on seal , fish, and whale . Not a lot of carbs growing on the tundra .
Hah, you got me. I suppose if you consider the elements (wind, snow ice etc.) the limited food sources (fat protein) and the absolute gargantuan efforts required to survive in that kind of world, then a fat and protein diet is probably the only diet that could sustain a human. Back in the '20's they did a quasi-documentary called "Nanook of the North".
Yes, great info and comment. So hard to do.
I can't remember.
Have heard and read many different things. Basically , a plaque on the brain forms and memory failures form as the plaque forms. (Supposedly, science doesn't know for sure why the plaque forms.) One thing that stands out is folks seem to think constant exposure to heavy metals is to blame. Many seem to think deodorant is to blame, due to it containing aluminum- and we, as a whole society, use it everyday. As for prevention, avoid handling heavy metals bare handed. This includes breathing in vapors. Many men I know that reload and melt lead to make their own bullets will use face masks rated to catch lead vapor and wear long sleeves, pants gloves, goggles, etc. (Lead has been found in high levels at shooting ranges as an airborne containment.) Stop using deodorant that contains aluminum. And most of all, keep challenging your mind. Add puzzles, play games, keep friends and converse. Anything that make you think. Do it regularly, everyday, as often as you can. Things like watching TV and movies, anything that leaves your mind stagnant, should be considered as conter-productive to prevention of Alzheimer's. Good luck, dealing with loved ones that have it's own kind of special hell. (Not proof reading, sorry)
Latest research says sugar (high carb diet, which causes inflammation).
Not surprised by that. There's a large list of things to avoid, just for a healthy life, sugar is just one.
I look at Alzheimer's as just another money maker for people who do research. As long as the money keeps rolling in, there'll be no direct cause named, no solution will ever be publicly found and admitted. Another way they tell society must suffer through and endure these things is pointing out the fact that we live much longer than we did, even just a hundred years ago. Yet, all these super rich one percent'ers, regularly live into their seventies and well beyond. I'd say it's shameful, but jews don't know the meaning of the word shame.
Yep, agreed.
You can read articles on medical research to get familiar with terminology and theories for when you need to consult a doctor for yourself or a relative. The more you read the more familiar you can get with the acronyms and technical biologic descriptions of what is going wrong in cells.

Aluminum. It causes Prion disease. If you look at brain slides of the dead patients there are straight dark lines. That is the unnatural folding and unfolding of the cell that kills it, and it infects the next one in the line. Avoid shots, deodorant, cans of food or drink.
I've heard over exposure to aluminum is one part of it. My mom said she read cholesterol lowering drugs can cause it. Your brain needs cholesterol.
Thank you. I think that's a great place for me start studying, things that effect cholesterol.
Do you think that sleeping issues could cause early Alzheimer's?
I haven't looked into sleep. Poor sleep can screw up a lot of stuff.
I heard a talk years ago stipulating that as men get older some need to use the restroom multiple times a night. This ends up screwing with the REM cycle and leading to various cognitive declines.
There are those that believe that Alzheimer's is "type 3 diabetes". I believe it is overall accumulated brain poisoning that is not dependent on the toxin. Therefore, the way to stop it is to live truly clear from processed carbs, and processes that may introduce heavy metals.
Yes.
Not sure on the cause, aluminum exposure, lack of REM sleep have been linked. Two items that tend to stave it off is red wine and coffee consumption.
That's interesting, I've never heard anything but bad things about coffee but as much as we consume, it's reassuring to know it might be good for something!
Nano Aluminum exposure from vaccines, industrial waste fluoride in drinking water. Mercury exposure from vaccines probably doesn't help either and may set the stage very early in life.
Also an excessive goyslop diet (high in carbohydrate, sugar, and chemicals) does not help as it causes inflammation and God knows what else. Regular alcohol consumption.
1) no vaccines. Period. 2) Drink tested well water or get a filter that removes Fluoride from your tap water. Use a hydroxyapatite toothpaste instead of a Fluoride one. 3) Don't drink, or at least drink very infrequently and in small amounts (if you can do that, most can't, so just don't drink).
Here's a start.
I don't think you do prevent it. I know there are familial aspects to alzheimers and even childhood or early onset alzheimers.
God bless you ex-fem, hope you find some answers.
Thank you very much for your kind words :) I have a friend who's worried about it. I should probably be worried about it too since I have done a lot of work with heavy metals. All I used was a facemask about 10 years ago when I was welding and grinding all kinds of metals, including alot of aluminum.
You're more than welcome. We should all be concerned about it. It's an equal opportunity devastator. I know there's research in acetylcholine levels being reduced in alzheimers. Work in antiacetylcholinesterase inhibitors is on going.
