I’d say worse. There’s the panic and disappointment in yourself as you watch the coffee start spilling all over the hot burner. The smell and frustration as you know it’s caking on, which means you’ll have to somehow clean the the extremely hot plate. Then there’s all the cleaning of the countertop and floor…again, the smell of spilt coffee that you know you’ll carry with you the rest of the day.
Add in the fact that(at least for me), you’re likely overcommitted, running a little behind, and somewhat tired…hence the desire for coffee in the first place. You now have a huge time and effort commitment you must satisfy before you can get to whatever you’re already a little late for….
Yeah…I’ve done it. And it was worse than I’d have retrospectively imagined it would be….
It can really ruin a day if you were relying on that being a solid pot of coffee and you really didn't need that mess that early in the morning. Yeah, I get it. Kinda sets the tone for the day.
