I work for a state university, and they recently told us that our raise options are going to be absolute shit next year... Again. Everyone's pissed, but without someone sticking their neck out this isn't going to change. Any advice or suggestions?

I'm keeping a low profile right now, but after 65% of us got a 1.4% raise... and were told to expect it again tensions are palpable.

You have to join a larger group, I worked at a college around 2010 and we were part of the AFT (American Federation of Teachers) and let me tell you they are a bunch of leftist retards, so yeah I'd say just look for another job and fuck the unions.

Is it possible that not all state uni's have unions that take a cut of your check? That's unusual, isn't it?
