I recently went shopping for different homeowner's insurance. One place gave me a quote for everything I wanted online. It tried to get me to add car insurance too, which I didn't want. So I clicked no and through to just buy what I want.
It doesn't let me. I had to actually call an agent to actually finish the deal. I was annoyed, but it was a good price from a reputable company so I do.
The agent gets on and pulls up my file. He then asks for my diver information so I can get a car insurance quote that I've already seen and declined and the website. I tell him I don't want car insurance, I'm happy with what I have, just the house. He puts me on hold to "just check for me anyways."
I hung up and called a different company and paid more I was so pissed. The idiot tried to call me back multiple times and left multiple messages.
This company could have sold me insurance I wanted to buy on their webite. Instead they make me do an extra step to an idiot who talks me out of doing business with them because he can't listen to "no, do not try to sell me anything else, just sell me what I've already decided on."
Companies so retarded these days
