I am a registered voter and received a letter in the mail to report for jury duty. However, it was mailed to a different address. It was actually sent to my father in laws house. I never lived there nor am I registered to vote with that address. Did I break the law by not reporting? Is this some sort of fraud? Shouldn't it have been mailed to the address where I am registered to vote at?

If the courthouse clears up the issue, make sure you have some paperwork showing as much.

Once an arrest warrant is issued, the patrol officer may have a physical copy and may not be immediately notified if it is then pulled. A good officer would check the validity of a FTA warrant, but not all officers are thorough. Phyical evidence of resolution may help you in that situation.

I will keep all the paperwork. Again, Thank you! God Bless You!
