The ego should always be a little bit ahead of the state. The mind naturally wants the ego and state to be at rest at the same value. So it being a little ahead of the state forces you to only be happy if you’re slightly improving your situation at the least.

Well I get along pretty well with myself, nothing to complain about. Myself and I mostly agree about pretty much everything so... It's rare when we get into an argument. We also happen to like the same things, it certainly plays a huge part in our relationship, it brings us together

This week I offered an new game controller to myself and he's pretty happy about it, me too btw. I enjoy being generous I'm a generous guy I like to give stuffs to relatives, it makes me happy to make them happy you know...
