I have my 3rd child due in a month. I wish I had known more about vaccines for the first 2 and not had them vaccinated but they are healthy so far. I am not vaccinating the 3rd. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on this in Texas.

I know the doctors are going to make it difficult and I may have to jump around until we find a pediatrician that will be okay with it. What I am really concerned with is school. I wish we could homeschool or do private school but it is not possible at the moment. Maybe that will change. It looks like I have to file for an affidavit of exemption and then send the school the affidavit of the exemption every two years. This seems really easy.

If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know.

You are an absolutely an amazing parent! Don't let the "health officials" convince you otherwise. I was and still am in that same boat with you. My son did get the first doses of poison. I am sick inside over it. I haven't ever gone back for anymore since his early ones. He was in private school all through out elementary school and since this past year, for middle school, my husband and I decided to let him go to the public school. In order to enroll him, I must submit his immunization records. I boldly and privately declined. I had to go down to the city, in person to the social services office and in person fill out religious exemption forms so that my son could enroll in public school. They make it difficult to do. But that is what I did.
