I only have a basic understanding, but I recognize for instance that taxes pay for such things as congressman, Israel, foreign aid, military, welfare, etc. I'm curious what effects would immediately take place and what would potentially replace those two current systems.

Plus it's fun to use one's imagination :)

A lot of businesses that exist to protect people from their destructive effects would have to find a new line of work. And the businesses that are parasitic to their pillage would go bankrupt.
