I can afford it, could be a lot of fun degrading and deriding the idiot NPCs while working there, and quite profitable in the end!

I don't think state laws/employee guidelines stand up against violating an individual's constitutional rights. The Constitution is supreme (or it is supposed to be), state laws can be found unconstitutional and void.
