You lose your points but not your post and comment count.
That really doesn't seem low on his end, 12 posts and a few hundred comments for a 2 year member that has had an absence, I get the suspicion but if you've ever administered a web page or a forum you'll know about the 80/20 rule, 80% of activity comes from 20% of users, 80% of new posts or threads comes from 20% of that first 20%, those are power users. I might be in the top 20% of commenters and that means 80% of users should be commenting much less than me, when you go looking the other way from power users you start finding lurkers and those people are the majority of your websites visitors, I'd bet more than half the people who would say they visit poal every day and have been doing so for a year or more don't even have accounts.
Fair enough.
If you had upvotes from users who then get banned, you lose the internet points that you got from them.
Correct, but as I keep saying, you don't lose your Post & Comment count That was my whole point, how many POSTS were made. I don't give a flying witches tit about the points.
