I try my best not to give my kid much screen time, but life is life and sometimes it is needed.

Here are some of our go-to's: Mister Rogers Neighborhood (the best and only one we can really do unsupervised) Vooks (animated books) Read-Aloud stories Hungarian Folk Tales Vintage Sesame Street (snuffy and big bird clips) Watching Trains & model trains Cowboy Jack (Texas dad who goes on field trips) Animal Documentary's for kids. Little Bear Franklin

Animations are insane and my kid completely zones out. But I can still interact with him when he watches the videos above.

Any other recommendations are welcome. iOS Apps are also welcome.

Lazy? You definitely don’t have kids. I haven’t had a full night sleep since before he was born. I’ve been on 100% of the time even when I’m sleeping. I don’t get any breaks. I cant even take shits by myself without my kid wanting to be near me. Maybe in the past people had extended family to help, but I don’t have any family close to come and give us any help. It’s me my husband and our toddler. I make most of his toys, I sew his clothes, I play with him, I cook all our food from scratch, I clean, organize, shop, and pay the bills and file our business and personal taxes. And I work part-time during his naps. You have no ideas how infuriating it is to hear someone call that lazy.
