I try my best not to give my kid much screen time, but life is life and sometimes it is needed.

Here are some of our go-to's: Mister Rogers Neighborhood (the best and only one we can really do unsupervised) Vooks (animated books) Read-Aloud stories Hungarian Folk Tales Vintage Sesame Street (snuffy and big bird clips) Watching Trains & model trains Cowboy Jack (Texas dad who goes on field trips) Animal Documentary's for kids. Little Bear Franklin

Animations are insane and my kid completely zones out. But I can still interact with him when he watches the videos above.

Any other recommendations are welcome. iOS Apps are also welcome.

If you save them for the stressy worst times it can help so much. The less you give them ready access the more they appreciate it. Like sugar restrictions with occasional treats, not constant snacks .
