Endless fires in my area for 20 years. Some very costly, big evacuations and lost homes. I watched a class 5 fire storm explode homes like balls of paper in a campfire, flames hundreds of feet high, created it's own storm and rained on itself. Most the last few years started by climate change terrorists. I just finished packing, now we wait to see how bad this one gets.

For this reason and more, I’m in the process of replacing the log cabin with a metal building.

We sold ours before a fire came. Insurance was too expensive.

damn. Fuck them. I wish someone had told me in my 20's: instead of paying for health insurance, put that 100 dollars away a month into a savings account for any medical issues. Same for this.

This is how the jews have been fucking us for years.

Why not go underground house. It's perfect insulation for a fire. Just make sure nothing is generally close to fall on top. An added bonus is you get built in camo.

it's literally mountain property. Dirt only exists in the valley where the cows graze.

I've. been breathing Canadian FF smoke almost ever day this summer in southern MN. Very unusual to say the least. Stay safe.

In Ohio that smoke is really affecting allergies. People coughing with constant post nasal drip that's clear but is never ending. (Sorry it's gross but I'm a nurse and we are seeing a lot of this).

I've experienced a category-5 chimp out before

I dropped a CFL lightbulb once. We had to evacuate the whole block and call hazmat in. /s

I have lived in a wildfire area over 20 years, they tried to evacuate us three times. Went the first time, declined to go the second, and the blocked us in with fire trucks, the third. We have go bags setup and document backups set. Some preparations makes it easier. We keep the trees trimmed and the brush cut down to help. We redid our roof with foam instead of tar. It is beautiful around here, but the end of summer always makes us nervous. Good luck

Thanks. It's growing fast and the wind is blowing harder. Personally I'm not concerned over my house, that's what insurance is for and out of my hands.

Rainy season followed by landslide season followed by dry season then fire season.

Seeing all these fires has made me wonder if home owners should start doing controlled burns. Have you ever considered it?

Not allowed in my area, some neighbors rent a goat herd to clear their land and illegally let them graze on the public land around our area. I'm all good with that.

Not first hand. But as a scenario; what worries me the most is the evacuation traffic and getting stuck.

Yes. Thankfully I was living in an RV so all I had to do was unhook, turn on the ignition and evacuate. But a neighbor stayed. He was talking with a woman forest ranger about evacuating when they got slimed with orange goo from a helicopter. He asked her, does this mean we're married?

Haha, that's quite a story 😆

The commies are smoking us out.

Time to build the gallows.

Edit: I’ve been shadow banned by the Kikes who’ve seized control of Poal.

Stay safe. Hopefully it wasn't arson. Seems a lot of that happening to support their narrative.
