My preference is to immediately come back with an obvious ethnic slur in the same style. Something like “she’s more like a loud-mouthed Shaniqua” or maybe a “I thought she sounded more like an angry Jamal”.

It seems to suddenly hit people better that way, or they don’t get it and then you know explaining it slowly wasn’t going to help anyways.

I don’t see an easy way to deflect this on the jews, but you’d have to use a similar tactic where you tie it to a correlated behaviour. Otherwise as someone else already pointed out, it isn’t natural and funny, and people hate it when you try to be funny but you aren’t.

im not worried about sacrificing the name karen. or having its origin being from whites. i like the idea of telling my wife not to be a karen and use the force of womens society to affect her. but even calling them kohens now is very appealing. bit too far of a leap to enter the zeitgeist but maybe we can find intermediate landings. im not trying to be funny. but if its fun to save your civilization then honk honk.
