I have a better question... Do animals hee and haw or bitch and moan like a human female when bearing their offspring? I can't say as that I've personally witnessed animals giving birth but I have watched Clakrson's Farm recently and did not note any signs of discomfort coming from a heifer while giving birth. I've never really thought about this before but this could be a relatable piece of evidence of the truth of the bible for some people.

Sometimes mammals will have a difficult birth because of a turned infant coming out the wrong way or occasionally the mother will just be exhausted and have weakness.

Generally speaking most animals just drop eggs with little to no fuss or they give live birth and keep walking, I haven't seen what goes on with apes or monkeys or lemurs.

There's a clip in the first 20 seconds of where the mother doesn't look distressed at all. Sort of just looks like a video of someone taking a shit in the streets of San Francisco the way she's got herself propped up on that ledge. Evaluating this piece of evidence I will conclude that other primates do indeed not toil during childbirth anything like humans which is conformation of what is said in Genesis 3.

If I were more motivated I'd snip a vid of a human giving birth (off painkillers preferably) with this video and then maybe a video of someone shitting in the street just for comparison's sake to illustrate God's proclamation in effect.

In this specific instance the KJV is not the best at illustrating the topic at hand and many other versions directly indicate pain.

16 To the woman he said,

I generally despise people who start "going to the Greek" (Hebrew in this case) but ʿiṣṣāḇôn is what it is (sorrow/toil). What's the difference between working out in a field and toiling out in the field? Does one suck way more?

Does a cow appear to toil while giving birth? Does a human woman appear to toil while giving birth? Definitely something going on there that isn't represented anywhere near as well as "sorrow".

It's one of the more logical parts of the OT. The consequence of sin is separation from Our Lord. Every time you feel weary, weak, pained, this is why. Jesus Christ is our way to return God freed from the consequences of our sins.

Part of the reason is women do it lying down on their backs. It's just like with shitting, squat, it opens up the pelvis and boom, things sort of fall out via gravity and the thighs squeezing the abdomen.

I know women are a little fucked because of the whole upright walking narrower pelvis thing but doing it this way would go a long way I think.

There's a video somewhere of a woman working in a field while fully pregnant. At some point she just stops, squats and pops out a baby like it was nothing

Our heads are enormous compared to other animals. Women's pelvises are bigger to compensate but they can't be much bigger without compromising their ability to run. We are also born less developed than many animals, with our skull bones unfused.

Being intelligent has it's downsides, which is why our brains didn't keep getting bigger and bigger until we all look like Megamind.

Because its not. If you do it at a real midwife that is actually experienced its a fairly benign experience. Is it painful for the woman? Sure. Women have low pain thresholds. If they are willing to have another in 6 months was the pain really that bad...?

I know a woman who acts like she's in constant pain all day everyday. Life is just pure suffering. Before she had her first kid she was crying out "I've never endured real pain before I don't know what to do".
