Tricky thing about radiation: it wasnt spread evenly from Chernobyl, and also is diluted unevenly. E.g. some surface dirt upwind of the facility? Likely negligible radiation for both reasons. Downwind? Depends if it's surface level dirt or in a sheltered building that slows dilution. This turns into a turd in the punchbowl scenario. 95% of it is harmless punch by now. Care to blindfold yourself and try some punch to see if you get lucky?
